The department offers in-house diploma in service training (IST) internship opportunities to students that are mainly repeating a few modules at IST level. The internship provides a valuable opportunity to carry out applied research projects in specialized area of chemistry that is of mutual interest to the intern and a supervising chemistry staff.

The various projects offered at chemistry will enhance your skills in chemistry project development and creative problem solving and in application of laboratory and instrumental techniques to solving real-world problem. Furthermore, you will work closely with an academic Departmental mentor and Professional Staff in the Laboratory to develop interpersonal skills needed in the industrial workplace.
