Biography

Eric Hosten finished his PhD at the University of Port Elizabeth. This was followed by a year and half post doc the Applied Research Laboratory at Perkin Elmer Bodenseewerk in Überlingen, Germany. On return he was appointed as a Scientific Officer at the University of Port Elizabeth in 2001 and is currently a Senior Researcher.

 

Areas of Expertise

  • Single Crystal X-ray diffraction of small molecules.
  • Calculation of equilibrium constants from spectrophotometric titrations (not currently active).
  • Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (not currently active).
